Sarah is an independent Organization Development consultant, trainer and coach. She has a Masters in OD from Case Western Reserve University and completed her AL Level 1 certification in 2008. Sarah uses Accelerated Learning to add power to her OD work with small to mid-sized companies and nonprofits.
She is one of the “Co-instigators” of a thriving AL Special Interest Group (SIG) in Northeast Ohio. She has presented at three IAL conferences and has been attending IAL conferences since 2004. |

Al has been using Accelerated Learning methods in his work since 2002 when he received training and certification from Dave Meier. He has been a member of IAL for a number of years and an enthusiastic champion of AL. Earlier in his career Al was a special education teacher at the secondary school level. He then moved to the corporate sector and now works as Sr. Development Specialist at the Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company. Al lives in the small town of New Sharon, Iowa and works in Grinnell, Iowa. |

Joy has spent the last 30 years in science education and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) training. She has a M.S. in Biology and received her CET (Certified EHS Trainer) in 1995. She is past President of the National Env., Safety, and Health Training Association (NESHTA). Joy uses and encourages other EHS trainers to include various AL principles and interactive exercises in her EHS train-the-trainer courses.

Lenn Millbower

Known as the Learnertainment® Trainer, Lenn is an expert in the use of show biz techniques to enhance learning. His practical methods fuse learning and entertainment to create interventions that are creative, meaningful, and fun. Lenn holds an MA in Human Resource Development and a BM in Composition. He spent much of his career as a Disney World Training Leader, is the author of several training books, has been an IAL member for many years, and has presented at several of our conferences.

Chester Stevenson

Chester has been a Training and Development Specialist / eLearning Developer at MBS Textbook Exchange since 2002. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources and Management from Columbia College. He is currently a Graduate Student at Boise State University, pursuing a Masters of Science in Instructional and Performance Technology (IPT), and a Graduate Certificate in Workplace eLearning and Performance Support (WELPS). Chester believes that Constructivist approaches like Accelerated Learning not only enable learners to construct their own knowledge, but are also much more enjoyable experiences for both the facilitator and the learners. While serving on the board, Chester hopes to uncover knowledge that is tacit in Accelerated Learning, and make it explicit for those new to the field. He has been a member of IAL since 2006.
