T3: Accelerated Learning in Online Learning
Enid Carlson
In this workshop, learners will explore various online technologies that can be used effectively with the different elements of the Accelerated Learning cycle. Using the ideas they discover in the first part of the workshop, learners will have the opportunity to exercise their ingenuity and creativity by creating a module for a course they would like to be able to facilitate online. This will allow learners to appreciate how to use the technologies in effective and pedagogically sound ways, receive feedback from others within the workshop, and discuss how technology can best work for their course and audience.
For this workshop, participants will benefit the most if they understand the basics of the Accelerated Learning Cycle, have a laptop with a wireless connection, and have a course they would like to be able to facilitate completely or partially online where at least one module of the course will be facilitated completely online.
